Volunteers Needed!

Zoom Tech:

  • Has a strong internet connection with sufficient bandwidth

  • Open waiting room at the meeting start.

  • Make sure all participants are muted until chosen to speak.

  • Record meeting to dropbox.

  • Be ready in case someone is disruptive and needs to be blocked from the meeting.

  • Watch the chat and deal with any technical questions or problems. Be ready with pre-typed chat answers for likely questions like: How do I save the Chat on PC, Mac or Android? Will I be able to get a replay? I’m not getting clear sound or video, etc.

  • Able to share screens to show videos or slides. Can download videos and optimize sound for sharing. Here are the prerequisites: https://support.zoom.com/hc/en/article?id=zm_kb&sysparm_article=KB0068426

  • Monitor emails, texts or whatsapp from people who are having problems signing into the meeting.

  • After the meeting, send a link to the recording to the Video-Editor to prepare the recording for upload to the Mega-Meeting YouTube channel and Website.

Q & A Manager:

  • Read pre-submitted questions beforehand, picking out the best and grouping them into a few key questions.

  • Add any important questions from the live chat during the meeting.Watch speaker’s talk and eliminate questions they have already answered.

  • Be a good speaker who can quickly and clearly ask the key questions -- if possible naming the questioners.

Video Editor:

  • Trim and fix-up our Zoom meetings and other videos for the Mega-Meeting.com website.
