🌍 Rotary and Peacebuilding Leadership

I am a dedicated Rotarian and peacebuilder committed to promoting peace, justice, unity, and community development at both club and district levels.

​

Key Roles:

• Charter Member, Rotary Club of Kubwa Gateway (2015)

• Charter President, Rotary Club of Abuja the Ambassadors (2018–2020)

• International Service Director, Rotary Club of Sapele GRA District 9141 (2023–2024, 2025–2026)

• Over 10 Years of Rotary Active Service to Humanity and Community Volunteer work

When I was invited to serve as the Charter President of Rotary Club of Abuja the Ambassadors, I embraced it as a humble call to serve and inspire. Our vision was to promote peace, unity, and meaningful community service. Together with our dedicated club members, we achieved the Rotary International Presidential Citation.

Selected Landmark Projects as Charter President:
✅ Water is Life Project – Provided clean, potable water to Gwagwalape and Kushigoro communities after years of lacking safe drinking water.
✅ Healthcare Support – Donated an oxygen concentrator to Nyaya General Hospital, saving newborn lives by addressing a critical equipment shortage.
✅ COVID-19 Relief – Distributed over 5,000 food packs to frontline workers and essential staff during the lockdown.
✅ Mask Party Fundraiser – Hosted the first-ever mask-themed fundraising event to procure hospital equipment.
✅ Soccer for Peace Novelty Match – Promoted peace and unity before Nigeria’s general elections, a period of heightened tribal and religious tensions.
✅ Internally Displaced Persons Support – Organized a peace-themed football match and distributed maternity kits and children’s supplies to displaced families.
✅ Rotary Family Health Day – Delivered medical outreach services, medication, and health checks to over 6,000 villagers in Karu-Nyayan communities.

Rotary Social & District-Level Initiatives:

• Led the first-ever Rotary District Peace and Business Delegation (D9110) to District 2440, Izmir, Turkey, in collaboration with the District Governor.

• Organized Rotary One Dance, an event to foster fellowship among Rotarians.

• Initiated the Rotary Presidential Game, bringing together Presidents and Rotarians to connect through friendly competition and team-building.

Beyond the club level, I have served in multiple district roles, collaborating to deliver sustainable projects and inspire new generations of Rotarians.

🌟 Founder – International Online Mega Meeting (formerly The Rotary Mega Meeting)

During the COVID-19 lockdown, I founded the International Online Mega Meeting Platform to unite Rotarians, peacebuilders, and humanitarian leaders worldwide—breaking down geographic barriers to connection and collaboration.

​

About the Platform:

• Serves Rotary International Presidents (past, present, elect), District Governors, Vice Presidents, club presidents, Rotarians, peacebuilders, humanitarian partners, and civil society leaders.

• Hosted one of the world’s largest Rotary online international mega meetings at the pandemic’s peak, with participation from over 500 clubs across 89 countries.

• Sessions attracted thousands of Rotarians via Zoom and Google Meet to share experiences, support one another, exchange professional ideas, and nurture global friendship in a time of crisis.

Impact:
The platform fostered deep bonds of friendship and solidarity in a time of isolation. We celebrated cultures, shared music and exercise classes, and exchanged professional opportunities. We also faced sorrow together, offering companionship and hope to Rotarians who joined us from hospital beds and isolation centers in their final days—reminding us of Rotary’s spirit of service and family.

Above all, the Mega Meeting Platform remains a testament to Rotary’s commitment to service above self, global unity, and creating hope in the world.
